“This is not merely a Pattabhishek, but a consecration of worthiness and sacred responsibility.”
With deep devotion and humility, Dr. Swami Shivchandra Das Ji was formally anointed as the President of the All-India Swami Ramteerth Mission, in a grand Pattabhishek Ceremony held with Vedic rituals and traditional grace at the mission campus in Dehradun.
More than a ritual, it was the living revival of the timeless Guru–Shishya tradition, rooted in Sanatan Dharma.
The ceremony was graced by the august presence and blessings of revered saints and dignitaries:
- Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji (President, Parmarth Niketan)
- Acharya Balkrishna Ji (Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar)

- Paramadhyaksha, Baba Mastnath Math, Asthal Bohar
- Shri Panchayati Akhada Bada Udasin and Saddarshan Sadhu Samaj
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji said, “This is not merely a transfer of duty, but a sacred commitment to protect and preserve Sanatan culture. A true Guru doesn’t just create disciples—he creates future Gurus. You have been chosen by the Divine.”
Acharya Balkrishna Ji shared, “When wisdom, discipline, and service unite, a great institution is born. Swami Shivchandra Das Ji has the strength to lead this mission to new heights.”
Shri Dattatreya Hosabale Ji stated, “This is a moment to reawaken the spirit of nation-building that Swami Ramteerth Ji instilled in India’s youth.”
Swami Shivchandra Das Ji humbly expressed, “I feel blessed to carry forward the legacy of Swami Ramteerth Ji. My life is fully dedicated to the upliftment of the nation, Dharma, and society.”
The event was not just a Pattabhishek, but the ritual anointing of the Guru’s Padukas—a divine affirmation of responsibility, purity, and leadership in service of the greater good.
This sacred occasion reminded us that the spirit of Bharat lives on through the strength of our spiritual traditions and selfless saints.
