A Grand Festival of Service, Spiritual Practice, and Environmental Consciousness

Launch of the Divyang (Differently-Abled) Empowerment Camp and Green Service Initiatives at Parmarth Niketan Ahead of the Sacred Appearance Day of HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji

“The Earth is not merely an inheritance from our ancestors; it is a sacred trust for future generations.” — Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji

At Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, the month of June has commenced with a profound commitment to service, compassion, and environmental stewardship. Ahead of the sacred appearance day of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, the Divyang Empowerment Camp, being held from June 1–5, 2026, was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by social philanthropists Shri Vinod Bagrodia Ji, Smt. Abha Bagrodia Ji, and a dedicated team of specialists.

Through this special service initiative, hundreds of differently-abled individuals are being provided with artificial limbs, calipers, assistive devices, medical consultations, and rehabilitation training, empowering them to become more self-reliant and confident.

Simultaneously, an extensive tree-planting campaign is spreading the message of environmental protection and ecological responsibility. Pujya Swamiji emphasizes that humanity’s future depends not merely on development, but on development rooted in values, compassion, and responsibility toward nature.

Pujya Swamiji’s life exemplifies the truth that spirituality extends far beyond places of worship. For him, spirituality means protecting rivers and natural resources, planting trees, serving those in need, honoring women, empowering youth, and uniting humanity as one global family.

At a time when the world faces climate change, environmental degradation, social fragmentation, and growing mental stress, Parmarth Niketan continues to offer hope and solutions through its vision of a Green Planet, Clean Planet, Peaceful Planet.

Let us all join this sacred movement of service, compassion, and environmental consciousness, and contribute to building a healthier, greener, and more harmonious world.
