Devotion filled mornings at Parmarth
Soak in devotion with this beautiful video of Pujya Swamiji and our Parmarth Rishikumars, where He joins them in picking flowers that had shed from the sacred Parijat tree at the heart of the Ashram. Ensuring that no flower was plucked but all those offered by God would be used to make beautiful mala’s for sringar for Maa Lakshmi – a simple act of devoted service that is at the core of His divine teachings.
As Pujya Swamiji so beautifully shares often, “ Seva is about giving attention to someone or something outside of your limited sense of self. It is about doing a selfless service, expecting nothing in return, not even acknowledgement. Serving another living being or even nature, is serving God, because the same God, who is present in me is also present in others. Doing Seva, therefore, is to worship God, and to work for moksha (liberation) in this life not after death and thereby the key to our ultimate and eternal happiness.”
