A grand, spiritual, and divine celebration was held in Bengaluru in the sacred presence and blessings of Pujya Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji. The occasion commemorated the 70th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji and the 45th Foundation Day of The Art of Living Foundation with immense devotion, reverence, and spiritual energy.
On this auspicious occasion, Ashok Hinduja Ji and his family were also present. Saints, seekers, devotees, volunteers, and distinguished guests from across India and around the world gathered to witness this magnificent spiritual gathering.
In his inspiring address, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji praised The Art of Living for spreading Indian culture, Sanatan values, and spiritual traditions globally through yoga, meditation, pranayama, and selfless service. He shared that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji has beautifully brought India’s ancient spiritual wisdom to the modern world in a simple and practical manner, guiding humanity toward peace, balance, and positivity.
Pujya Swamiji further said that at a time when the world is facing stress, violence, environmental crises, and mental unrest, organizations like The Art of Living serve as beacons of hope for humanity. The organization’s efforts in water conservation, natural farming, rural development, and humanitarian service are deeply inspiring and commendable.
On this sacred occasion, Pujya Swamiji, Pujya Sadhviji, and Shri Ashok Hinduja Ji offered a divine gift from Uttarakhand to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji — a Rudraksha sapling symbolizing Shivtatva, along with a sacred replica of Lord Shiva from Parmarth Niketan situated on the holy banks of Mother Ganga.
