Faith Leaders come together for Ganga Grams & Green Pilgrimages

Pujya MM Swami Gurusharananandji Maharaji, Karshnipeethadeshwar, Ramanreti, Mathura and Jagadguru Ramandacharya Pujya Swami Hansdevacharyaji, Haridwar joined HH Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji at the Parmarth Organic Farm in Veerpur for a special tree plantation. During their visit, they learned about the wonderful green activities being undertaken by the Ganga Action Parivar and Global Interfaith WASH Alliance for building toilets, promoting #sanitation and #hygiene programmes and making the village #opendefecationfree.

Pujya Swamiji and Sadhviji shared that a number of toilets had already been built and plans were being made to make Veerpur Khurd a #GangaGram. They also discussed the upcoming Kanwad Mela and how all melas, religious festivals and kathas can be clean, green and free from pollution.
