Hindu Lifestyle Conference in London

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati graced the 3-day conference on Hindu Lifestyle in London, organized by the Swaminarayan Gurukul Parivar (SGVP). Addressing a largely second-generation and first-generation Indian community in London, Pujya Swamiji spoke on the importance of being Indian and maintaining Indian culture and Indian values in our homes. Pujya Swamiji also emphasized the importance of 4M’s: mother tongue, mother land, our biological mother and Mother Nature. He especially said that the Hindu youth should definitely be able to speak their native tongues of Hindi or Gujarati, or any other native language that they may belong to.

Pujya Swamiji deeply appreciated Pu.Madhavpriya Swamiji of the Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad for his commitment to the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance program of tree plantation, cleanliness and provision of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). He especially commended Pujya Swami Madhavpriyadasji’s great efforts and leadership to adopt 108 villages in Gujarat, just after the big ‘Worship to WASH’ Summit in Parmarth Niketan Ashram (Rishikesh) in 2014 to make them clean, green and open defecation free.

Pujya Swamiji also inspired all present to protect and preserve the environment through the plantation of trees.
