Kashi Ki Dev Diwali: Celebrating Festival of Lights with the Gods
Highlights and updates from the incredibly special and divine Dev Diwali celebrations are now in and we are glad to share an extraordinary evening with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri MYogiAdityanath ji, Hon’ble UP Tourism Minister Prof Rita Bahuguna Joshiji, Hon’ble State BJP President Shri Mahendra Nath Pandeyji, HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji, Hon’ble Principal Secretary, Shri Awanish Kumar Awasthi and many others gracing the divine occasion to ceremoniously inaugurate Sur Ganga’s 143 day celebration with cultural programmes from renowned artists and folk artists, as a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the sacred land. Thereafter a special visit to Pujya Santoshdas Satuababaji’s ashram and darshan of Kashi Vishwanath.

During the visit, Pujya Swamiji blessed the special Ganga Aarti on Raj Ghat and participated in a special Laser Show highlighting the mythological story of Maa Ganga.
Pujya Swamiji expressed His great delight to see the tremendous developments in the sacred city and the great commitment, vision and mission with which the UP Government is working to preserve, protect as well as promote it’s rich heritage on the world map. He was also glad to hear of the consistent and continuous efforts to ensure a clean and green River Ganga flows for all devotees through this state and the many wastewater treatment plants already underway to tap these drains. He was so glad to hear the connectivity between Kashi and Prayag Raj and the great steps being taken to celebrate the upcoming Pravasi Bharti Divas in one of the world’s oldest cities.

Pujya Swamiji shared, “It is a great joy and a matter of great pride to see the great leadership and the momentous efforts being taken to share the glory of our nation. I believe that UP Darshan is Bharat Darshan and to see Uttar Pradesh really become Uttam Pradesh under Hon’ble Yogiji’s leadership is a matter of great pride for all Indians. Soon I am certain that these great heritage sites of UP, whether Kashi, Prayag Raj, Vrindavan, Agra, etc, will be on the world map as international spiritual tourism destinations. I am especially glad to see how these efforts of development have at the core the rejuvenation and restoration of the lifeline of the state, the River Ganga.”

देव दिवाली के अवसर पर सुर गंगा फेस्टिवल का किया उद्घाटन जो कि 143 दिनों तक चलेगा
स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज ने तीर्थ क्षेत्रों को स्वच्छ और प्लास्टिक मुक्त करने का किया आह्वान
24 नवम्बर, ऋषिकेश/बनारस। उत्तरप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी, परमार्थ निकेतन के परमाध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज, पर्यटन मंत्री उत्तरप्रदेश श्रीमती रीता बहुगुणा जोशी जी, सतुआ बाबा ने देव दिवाली एवं लेजर, लाइट एंड साउंड शो का उद्घाटन किया। देव दिवाली के अवसर पर काशी नगरी में स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज का अभिनन्दन किया।
स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी महाराज ने कहा कि ’’देश की सत्ता और प्रदेश की सत्ता जब अपने पर्वों एवं त्यौहारों को मनाने के लिये धर्मनगरी में पहुंचती है तो देश का उत्साह कई गुणा हो जाता है। कल देर रात देव दीपावली के अवसर पर हजारों-हजारों श्रद्धालुओं ने लाखों-लाखों दीप प्रज्जवलित कर देव दिवाली मनायी। ऐसा लग रहा था मानों सारे देवता ही काशी नगरी में पधार गये है। भगवान श्री राम जब अयोध्या में पहुंचे तब से दीपावली मनायी जाती है वह भी केवल अयोध्या में नहीं बल्कि पूरे देश में मनायी जाती है। देव दिवाली की ऐसी मान्यता है कि सब देवता काशी नगरी में उतरकर दीपावली मनाते है, सचमुच ऐसा दिव्य नजारा पूरे विश्व में कहीं पर भी देखने को नहीं मिलता। स्वामी जी महाराज ने कहा कि मैं अभी-अभी विश्व के कुछ देशों की यात्रा करके लौटा हूँ तो कही भी ऐसा दृश्य कभी भी देखने को नहीं मिला। अद्भुत है भारत, अद्भुत है भारत की संस्कृति, दिव्य है भारत की श्रद्धा। स्वामी जी महाराज ने कहा कि भारत की इस माटी को, इन पर्वों, महोत्सवों और त्यौहारों को प्रणाम करता हुँ जो जीवन को उत्सव बनाने का संदेश देते है।
स्वामी जी महाराज ने कहा कि जिस तरह आज हम दिपावली मना रहे है, मुझे तो लगता है भगवान श्री राम का मन्दिर जिस दिन भव्य रूप में बनना शुरू हो जायेगा उस दिन पूरा विश्व और पूरे विश्व में रहने वाले भारतीय दिवाली मनायेंगे ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है। उन्होने कहा कि इस देव दिवाली के अवसर पर हम प्रार्थना करे कि बहुत शीध्र ही भव्यता और दिव्यता के साथ भगवान श्री राम जी के मन्दिर का निर्माण हो। आईये देव दिपावली के अवसार पर हम उन सभी लोगो के दिलों और घरों में दीप जलाये जहां पर निराशा का अन्धकार छाया हुआ है। अंधेरा कही भी हो दिल में या दुनिया सभी जगह से हर तरह के अन्धेरे को मिटाना हमारा परम कर्तव्य है तभी हम समझेगे की हमने सच्ची देव दिवाली मनायी।
उत्तरप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी ने कहा, देव दिवाली देवताओं की दिवाली है इसमें सहभाग करना सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होने कहा कि दुनिया की दृष्टि में काशी की जो ख्याति है उसे वहीं स्वरूप प्रदान करना है साथ ही इस धार्मिक नगरी की संस्कृति, संस्कार और सभ्यता को बरकरार रखना भी हमारा कर्तव्य है। उन्होने कहा कि काशी की आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक पहचान को बनायें रखते हुये वहां पर विकास किया जायेंगा।
स्वामी जी महाराज ने सभी देशवासियों को देव दिवाली की शुभकामनायें देते हुये सभी से तीर्थ क्षेत्रों को स्वच्छ और प्लास्टिक मुक्त करने का आह्वान किया।
