Lord Jagannath Temple Inaugurated & School for Tribals Planned

A beautiful Temple of Lord Jagannath was inaugurated by Pujya Swamiji, Pujya Ramesh Bhai Ozaji (Bhaishri), Pujya Bal VyasShri Shrikantji, Pujya Anurag Thukur Kanyaji and many others. It is the first of its kind in the State, the temple has been built on a chariot like structure in sandstone. It is architectural marvel by Emami Group, led by the spiritual vision of joint chairman Shri RS Agarwalji and Shri RS Goenkaji, at Balgopalpur in Balasore district has been dedicated to the society. Noted architect and sculptor Padma Vibhushan Raghunath Mohapatra and his group were entrusted to build the temple in 2009.

After the inauguration and the sacred havan there was also the signing of an MOU between Emami Group Chairmans and Prof Achyuta Samanta, KIIT University and KISS Foundation, India, for the start of a school for high quality education for 1,000 tribal children.

The initiative was lauded by all the revered saints and it was shared that to be in service of humanity was the true worship of the divine. The school would a temple of knowledge, giving the tools to tribal students the opportunity to develop the skills they need to survive and thrive.

Pujya Swamiji said: “It is so beautiful to see the friendship, partnership and oneness of Shri RS Agarwalji and Shri RS Goenkaji, they have raised their families with such sanskaras, such values. I often say you can give your kids cars but what is truly priceless is their sanskaras.If they can remain rooted in their values and nourished by their spiritual-cultural heritage than they need no other gift and simultaneously every other gift becomes infinitely more meaningful.”

Pujya Bhaishriji shared, “This initiative is very close to my heart, as education is a great passion of my. There is a great, untapped power in the children of India and we must allow it to blossom and give fruit.”
