Monsoon Tree Plantation Blessed by Pujya Swamiji
On the first day of Shrawan, the auspicious month in the Hindu calendar coinciding with the monsoons, Pujya Swamiji was cordially invited to inaugurate the planting of nearly 1000 trees at the Raiwala Military Cantonment. He had inspired the tree plantation earlier at the Cantonment during a large-scale clean up, in which He had engaged the military to adopt the Raiwala Railway Station in May. Pujya Swamiji committed that in memory of the “People’s President” and the “Missile Man,” Ganga Action Parivar, Global Interfaith WASH Alliance and the Divine Shakti Foundation, would plant tree plantations throughout the monsoons, reaching out to schools, colleges, cities and towns, to plant as many trees as possible. He shared that the Former President was a Green Leader whose dedication, vision and dream of India would, like these trees, take deep roots in our hearts and lead and guide the whole nation.
