Clean Up of Sangam’s Banks on Makar Sankranti

On January 14th we celebrated Makar Sankranti, a day marking the beginning of the Sun’s ascent into the Northern Hemisphere, as well as the official start to the Kumbh Mela. Honorable Governor, Ministers Inaugurate GAP Biodigester Toilet Project

Yatra to Gangotri and Uttarkashi

International Yoga Festival 2012

The annual International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh began on March 1, 2012 and ran for one week, until the 7th March.  The Uttarakhand Tourism Department and Parmarth Niketan Ashram jointly organized the festival.
