Paying homage to the sacred tradition of national service, valor, dedication, and sacrifice, the convention was held in a dignified and patriotic atmosphere at the Satyagraha Mandap, Rajghat, within the premises of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti. Veterans, Veeranganas, defence officers, and social leaders from across the country gathered, transforming the event into a grand platform of national unity and soldiers’ honour.
The program commenced with the National Anthem, homage to the martyrs, and the auspicious sound of the conch.
Pujya Swami Ji emphasized that soldiers are not merely guardians of borders, but protectors of India’s culture, values, and self-respect. Their lives embody discipline, service, and supreme patriotism.
Governor Shri Gurmit Singh Ji stated that even in the toughest conditions, our soldiers uphold the highest national duty, and their commitment forms the foundation of India’s security and dignity. He reaffirmed that the families of martyrs are the nation’s priceless heritage and deserve collective care and respect.
Families of martyrs and Veeranganas were honoured, and a powerful solo theatrical tribute on the life of Subhas Chandra Bose deeply stirred patriotic emotions.
The convention concluded with a collective pledge, vote of thanks, and the National Anthem—emerging as an inspiring step toward soldiers’ respect, national unity, and the making of a Mahan Bharat.
