On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati hoisted India’s tricolor flag in America.

he Indian diaspora filled the atmosphere with patriotic songs, deep reverence for the tricolor, and heartfelt love for the Motherland. The message of “Tricolor in every house, tricolor in every heart” came to life — bodies abroad, hearts in the homeland — and “The heart is Hindustani” became a mantra echoing in the very being of Indians living overseas.
