Aman Ekta Hariyali Yatra- अमन हरियाली एकता यात्रा

The Historic Aman Ekta Haryali Yatra from the 25th August and still ongoing until the end of this monsoon season, where we covered Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi, planting thousands of saplings in 1,000
Madrasas, Gurukuls, Mandirs, Masjids, Schools, Railway Stations and Public Locations and have inspired millions more. The yatra has been jointly organized by the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance
(GIWA)* and the Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind (JUH), in association with Parmarth Niketan, Ganga Action Parivar and the Jamiat Youth Club in an effort to bring Hindu and Muslim faith communities together to take climate action, combating together the devastating effects of environmental degradation and climate
change.

In the first phase of the yatra from 25-26th August, Maulana Mahmood Madaniji, Secretary General of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind and Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President of Parmarth Niketan, Founder/Chair of GIWA, personally led, inspired and motivated 5 districts and over 25 locations from Rishikesh, Haridwar, Jwalapur, Muzaffarnagar, Deoband to Shamli with many other locations simultaneously covered by volunteers and followers in these districts.

In the second phase from 30th August onwards we covered much of Northern Gujarat with volunteers continuing to work tirelessly in Uttarakhand, UP, Rajasthan to plant more trees.

Here are some beautiful highlights of this historic journey!
