International Mother Language Day

माँ, मातृभूमि और मातृभाषा ये तीनों ही संस्कारों की जननी हैं।’’ मातृभाषा हमें अपने मूल और मूल्यों से जोड़ती है। माँ से जन्म, मातृभूमि से हमारी राष्ट्रीयता और मातृभाषा से हमारी पहचान होेती है इसलिये जरूरी है कि हम कम से कम अपने घर-परिवार में अपनी मातृभाषा में ही वार्तालाप करें ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ भी भाषा के माध्यम से अपनी संस्कृति, संस्कार और मूल को जान सकंे।

भाषाओं के संरक्षण के लिये अपनी भाषा को बोलने और उसे दिल से स्वीकारने की जरूरत है। अपनी भाषा, लिपि और अपनी संस्कृति को जीवंत बनाए रखना हम सभी का परम कर्तव्य हैं। हमें कम से कम पारिवारिक स्तर पर एक ऐसे वातावरण का निर्माण करना होगा जहां अपनी मातृभाषा के स्थान पर किसी दूसरी भाषा को स्थापित करने की जरूरत न पड़े।

The extinction of languages ​​means the extinction of culture, so let’s live our mother tongue and our mother culture. By preserving, supporting and promoting our Mother language ​​at national and international levels, we keep our culture alive and thriving.”
