Centering our Mind on the Divine
Pujya Swamiji begins by sharing that which is priority for us is where the mind goes. He shares that most of the time we want from God, we don’t usually want only God. He shares when we want only God then God is there. It’s our desires, our expectations, our ego etc that become priority and occupy our mind. He says that wanting from God is not wrong or bad but wanting anything else but God is futile and transient in nature.
He encourages us to introspect every night and explore what it is that prevents us from being with God, then offer and surrender all of that to God. By leading our lives dedicated to God we no longer need to read scriptures or wisdom to our children but that just by living with us our children also become centered on the Divine.
Pujya Swamiji concludes that we should lead our own lives, offering all that is good and bad to the Lord and wishing for only His divine presence in our lives.
