He reminds us the days and nights really allude to the light and darkness within us and that the time of Navratri is a time to dispel all darkness within us. He also encourages us to take this time to meditate, introspect, reflect on all that keeps us from living in the light, offering and surrendering ourselves fully and completely to the Divine Mother so that she may give us a new birth out of the womb of our darkness and into the light of our true nature.
