Divine Satsang: Bhakti or Karma Yoga?
In a truly beautiful and inspirational Divine Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan, HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati responded to questions from our global family abroad and in the Sacred Garden, offering divine drops of wisdom to help us go deeper into our spiritual path!
The first question – from a member of our family residing abroad – wondered whether our sacred scriptures are literal or figurative, to which Sadhviji responded that the epic stories of these sacred texts, while historically accurate, are meant to meditations for our lives! This was followed by a question in the Garden, asking how we can find the purpose of our life.
Finally, a question from a family member who was present in the Garden asked whether bhakti or karma yoga was the better path to moksha. Sadhviji responded that, truly, the different paths of yoga are exactly that – different paths to the same destination! Param Pujya Swamiji eloquently responded by emphasising the importance of surrender on the path of Yoga. He explained so exquisitely that when we love the Divine and remember the Divine in all that we do, then every action, thought and word becomes the confluence of Bhakti, Karma and Gyan Yoga.
Tune-in every night for Divine Satsang from the Holy Banks of Mother Ganga for the guidance and direction that has helped so many people around the world find healing and transformation in their lives!
