Hygiene, Toilets & Sanitation | BHEL, FICCI, GIWA

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) & Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) recently visited the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance (GIWA) International Secretariat at Parmarth Niketan to reconnect and discuss the completion of the 25 public toilet clusters established across Haridwar and Rishikesh in prominent public locations and pilgrimage sites to provide safe, hygienic and adequate sanitation facilities for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims and tourists that visit every year. The visit summarised the status of the 18 clusters already completed and set a timeline for the 7 clusters in pipeline.

Meeting was held under the inspiring leadership and vision of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji with active and integral participation of Shri Sanjoy Sinhaji, GM (HR), Shri PK Guptaji, AGM (CSR), Shri JB Singhji, DGM (CSR) of BHEL, Shri Nirankar Saxenaji, Deputy Secretary General, Shri Anil Sinhaji, Co-Chair, Shri Rubaab Soodji, Additional Director, Shri Rakesh Soodji of FICCI, @Swamini Adityananda Saraswati and Ganga Nandiniji, Directors of GIWA.
