Message on National Girl Child Day

कन्या है तो कल है, इसलिये बेटियों के जन्म को जन्मोत्सव के रूप में मनाये। आईये राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर भ्रूण हत्या और बालिका विवाह के उन्मूलन का संकल्प ले। बेटियों को नियमित रूप से स्कूल जाने, स्कूल में बने रहने और उपलब्धियाँ को हासिल करने हेतु सक्षम बनाये। इस बदलाव के साक्षी बने और इसे सामाजिक स्तर पर घटित होने हेतु योगदान प्रदान करे।

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day Pujya Swamiji said that in order to build a bright, prosperous and progressive nation, daughters and sons should be provided equal opportunities and access to education, respect in the society and empowered to strive for their dreams.

A gender balanced society in which gender equality is cultivated is a powerful testimony of our Vedic culture which has always propounded to us to see beyond gender and allow the divine and infinite potential of each soul to blossom forth. Let our commitment to such a society in which all thrive, especially our girl child for she is the very foundation of a healthy and happy society.
