Navratri Blessings on Day 2: Goddess Brahmacharini

Day 2 of Navratri began with a special Shakti Yagya followed by a beautiful and deeply inspirinng blessing by HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini, represented by the colour white, symbolising purity and tapas. Pujya Swamiji spoke of Goddess Parvati’s great faith and love for Bhagawan Shiva, emphasized on the importance and power of a pledge or intention and how it can shape our world such that even in the face of lust, envy and greed — in the face of darkness– we choose God. In so doing we are carried through the darkness to the light, staying grounded and achored in the light.
