Swachhta Kranti at Simhastha Mahakumbh

The Simhastha Mahakumbh, Ujjain turned into Green Kumbh – A Mela with a vision of clean and green India as the Swachhta Kranti campaign there was led by HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati, President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh and Co-founder of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance. He stated, “The world is as we dream it, and it is time for a new dream. Every day, 1,200 children die needlessly in India due to lack of clean water, sanitation and hygiene. The deaths are a result of our bad habits. We can change that. By changing our ways, we change the world.”
