World Earth Day 2025

Apr 22 2025

World Earth Day 2025

As the Earth groans under the weight of pollution and deforestation, Harit Yoga and reverence for nature are not just solutions—they are sacred responsibilities.

On this Earth Day, HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji reminds us:  “Forests give birth to rivers through their greenery, shade, and moisture. They nourish and sustain them. Without forests, rivers would disappear. Forests are not just green cover—they are the soul and source of our rivers.”

In Indian culture, nature was never seen as a mere resource but as a relationship. Forests were revered as gods, rivers as mothers, and the Earth as divine.

“Mata Bhumih Putro Aham Prithivyah” — The Earth is our Mother and we are Her children.

Let this day be more than a celebration—let it be a living commitment.

Let’s pledge to: Practice Yoga, Plant Trees, Conserve Water, Protect Life.

One Earth, One Health — let this be our shared mantra.
