World Toilet Day: From ODF to ODF Plus

On World Toilet Day, Pujya Swamiji congratulates the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji, for guiding India towards achieving the monumental milestone of an Open Defecation Free society. Likewise, He lauded the Union Government’s efforts to prioritize the issue of sanitation.
He shares,” शौचालय केवल शौचालय नहीं है, बल्कि वो एक जीवन रक्षक प्रणाली भी है,
हमारी माताओं, बहनों, बेटियों की गरिमा को और उनकी सुरक्षा को बचाये रखने के लिए बहुत बड़ा माध्यम है। शौचालय का उपयोग करने का मतलब सार्वजनिक स्वश्थ की रक्षा से है।“
“4.2 billion people all over the world,” Pujya Swamiji declared, “do not have basic sanitation facilities. 4.2 billion! Let us pledge to provide sustainable sanitation solutions to everyone by 2030. We must join together to ensure that every human has access to safe water, air and sanitation facilities. It is the need of the hour!”
